Antistatic
Meech ionisation bars neutralize high static eletcricity. They are installed in front of the manifold at the inlet (as option also at the outlet). Static electricity of the material impede production and adhere dust particles and other quality reducing substances. The phenomen of high static electricity can be found in nearly all industries.
Ionizer work with high voltage of several thousand volts. The high static electricity on the surface will be neutralized by the meeting of positive and negativ charge. Such ionizers have conductive tops supplied with high voltage. They produce ionics due to corona discharge and field emmission.
There are different models of ionization bars depending on web speed, material and application. For narrow web and slow web speeds the bar 910 is suitable. For higher speeds and working widths of more than 1000 mm the bar 915 is used. Basically a trafo 904 is used.
